Objectives: Identify wealthbuilding strategies that do not work in multicultural communities 2) Determine why strategies for economic development have failed in multicultural communities. 3) Consider how proprietary education can close achievement gaps in education. 4) Adapt models that produce outcomes of increased wealth, successful entrepreneurship, and increase educational achievement in select multicultural populations with emphasis on Black, Latino and Native American Communities

What do we need to change to build education systems that really help ALL young people become the innovative, globally aware, intercultural folks that will have the skills needed in the world we see coming but can not yet really imagine? Lets talk about it!

This is a discussion area to share ideas and engage in provocative discussion around closing achievement gaps in education, business, employment, and other areas for those within 180% of the poverty level (i.e., low SES) and African Americans. While much of the discussion may center around K-12 student achievement, let's also explore definitions and measurements of achievement for post secondary school and prior to kindergarten . . .
