This is the fourth in a series of articles on this subject. Shake it off We’ve all probably seen how a dog shakes to dry themselves after they get wet. Have you ever noticed that dogs do this same shaking movement at other times when they are not wet?

This is the first in a series of articles on this subject. For the past several years, I have had jobs working with young people. I was an after school instructor for middle school students and currently I work for an organization that helps homeless youth overcome the obstacles in their lives to become self sufficient. I had never really thought about writing a blog before, but here I am and here is my very first blog entry. Being new to the world of blogging I am very aware of my inexperience and I find myself a bit self conscious... Writing for an unknown audience, I think about what should I be writing and what will people think? Already in this short paragraph I have gone back and deleted, reworded and tried to make everything just right. Anxious, Nervous, Apprehensive, What's the big deal?

I ended my last (and first) blog with Here goes... And tomorrow I am going to Guatemala. This trip is actually the reason I started this blog in the first place.

It is my third day in Guatemala and I finally have an opportunity to find the internet. Right now I am in a internet cafe, minus the cafe. There are lots of computers and maybe ten people, all of whom look like they live here. The keyboard has stickers for the letters and I´m having some technical difficulties with the keys sticking, but here goes...
